Here you’ll find a complete list of all cheats and cheat codes for Age of Mythology: Retold, including every expansion. I’ve organized all 39 available cheats by category and expansion. Keep in mind that each expansion introduced new cheats on top of the existing ones. This guide will be updated regularly as new cheats are discovered.

All Age of Mythology Cheats

Cheats vary depending on the version you’re playing. If you’re playing AoM: Retold, you’ll have access to every cheat listed on this page. If you’re using an earlier version, only the cheats from the first sections will be available.

How to Enable Cheats in Age of Mythology: Retold

To activate cheats during gameplay (works on PC, Xbox, and PS5), follow these steps:

Press the ‘ENTER’ key (or open the chat window).
Type in the cheat code you want to use.
Press ‘ENTER’ again to confirm.

The cheat will activate instantly.

Note: Unit-spawning cheats require a Town Center. Units will spawn there automatically.

Resource Cheats

You can enter these cheats as many times as you want:

JUNK FOOD NIGHT: +1,000 Food.
ATM OF EREBUS: +1,000 Gold.
TROJAN HORSE FOR SALE: +1,000 Wood.
MOUNT OLYMPUS: Max Favor.
ENGINEERED GRAIN: Fattens animals on the map, increasing food yield.

Map Cheats

LAY OF THE LAND: Reveals the full map.
UNCERTAINTY AND DOUBT: Restores fog of war.
IN DARKEST NIGHT: Cycles through 4 different map lighting settings.
RED TIDE: Turns water red and kills all fish on the map.

God Power Cheats

DIVINE INTERVENTION: Refreshes God Powers | adds one extra use to all God Powers (in The Titans).
PANDORAS BOX: Grants 4 random God Powers.
WRATH OF THE GODS: Unlimited Lightning Storm, Earthquake, Tornado, and Meteor powers.
GOATUNHEIM: Turns all units on the map into goats (except chickens and livestock).
FEAR THE FORAGE: Animates berry bushes so they move and attack.
BAWK BAWK BOOM: Chicken Storm, exploding chickens rain from the sky.
SET ASCENDANT: Take control of Gaia, control all animals, including huntables, livestock, and certain myth units.

Unit Spawn Cheats

Remember: you need a Town Center to spawn cheat units.

I WANT TEH MONKEYS!!!1!: Spawns 100 monkeys at your Town Center.
WUV WOO: Spawns a fast flying purple hippo.
TINES OF POWER: Spawns ForkBoy, a cartoon farmer with a trident.
O CANADA: Spawns a Laser Bear.
ISIS HEAR MY PLEA: Summons the 9 heroes from The Fall of the Trident campaign: Arkantos, Amanra, Ajax, Odysseus, Chiron, Eitri, Brokk, Reginleif, and Setna.

General Cheats

THRILL OF VICTORY: Instantly win the game.
CHANNEL SURFING: Skip to the next campaign mission (campaign only).
L33T SUPA H4X0R: Instantly completes all actions (building, training, research, etc.).
LETS GO! NOW!: Speeds up gameplay (note: 2 spaces between GO! and NOW!).
CONSIDER THE INTERNET: Slows down gameplay.
MR. MONDAY: Boosts AI difficulty with a +1000% handicap (AI gathers resources 11x faster).

Age of Mythology: The Titans Cheats (6 New Cheats)

ZENOS PARADOX: Grants 4 random powers (including Atlantean powers).
ATLANTIS REBORN: Summons the 4 heroes from The New Atlantis: Kastor, Amanra, Ajax, and Folstag.
BARKBARKBARKBARKBARK: Spawns Bella, a powerful dog.
TITANOMACHY: Spawns a Titan at your Town Center.
TINFOIL HAT: Randomly switches control of all units and buildings.
RESET BUTTON: Destroys all buildings on the map.

Age of Mythology: Extended Edition Cheats (2 New Cheats)

NINJACONNOR: Grants 100,000 of each resource, infinite powers, and 100x speed boost.
WRATH OF CYCLONE: Turns all your units into Titans.

Your Town Center after spawning 100 chaotic monkeys with I WANT TEH MONKEYS!!!1!

Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon Cheats (4 New Cheats)

POWERS FROM DIYU: Grants 4 random powers (including Chinese powers).
BLESS ME FU XI: Summons the 4 heroes from Tale of the Dragon: Danzhu, Jiao-Long, Shun, and Zhi.
TITANIC: Titans gain the ability to walk on water.
WOLOLO: Chinese monks chant the classic “Wololo” to convert enemies.
